Payment for your tpappy website

How does tpappy charge?

We are out in the open with the how, why and what we charge. Since we are a team of creative professionals who provide our expertise in marketing communications as well as our creative talent, we charge by the quarter-hour for our attention to your projects.

As of 1/1/2012, our quarter-hour rate is $35. All of our products are based on the time it takes to get your projects completed so they can get to work for you. The Squarespace framework and our practiced hands make it all happen that much quicker, and you are the benefactor of our experience. All products and projects are estimated based on the average time it takes to complete. We can either bill actual hours or a pre-negotiated project amount based on your objectives. It's your choice.

Straightforward Agreements

Our agreements are straightforward and easy to read. We want to protect ourselves as well as protect you and your investment regarding the services you are buying from us. We provide estimates and proposals based on your business requirements and a clear scope of work. That's why we put pricing right on our website.

Deposits and Payments

We charge a 50% deposit before work begins, accompanied by a signed agreement. The balance will be invoiced to you when the work is complete. There are some exceptions with really big projects that take months to complete. In those cases, we we will work out specific milestones and a better financial payment plan that fits your needs.

For ongoing, monthly services, we will set up a retainer agreement with you that stipulates what we do for you and for how much so you can set your monthly budget. We bill retainer engagements in advance and on a monthly basis, and they can be canceled anytime with your written request and a 60-day notice.

Forms of Payment

You can pay by check or by credit card. Because our costs are controlled, we do charge a 3% credit card processing fee to cover the merchant account and transaction expense.

In some instances we can come up with more creative financing solutions, but we handle those on a case-by-case basis. Call us to discuss your budget and goals, and we'll see if we are able to accommodate your needs while getting done what you need done for your business marketing.

Other services and third parties

Because you may want something more in addition to your awesome new website, we may engage third parties or other services to pull together the perfect marketing and communications strategy. These include stock photos, videos, illustration, printing, mailing, public relations, social media apps and other communications tools. All will be scoped out and estimated separately, and nothing will be executed without your approval.

We can also provide you with per-hour management, edits, or other business consulting services. Those services will also be charged at our standard hourly rate and billed monthly.

Better3, LLC, is the company that you are doing business with. tpappy.com websites and related creative are a service of Better3. All of your contracts, agreements, estimates, invoices and credit card charges will have "Better3" as the name of the company you are doing business with.
